REVISION 7 0F THE JAMES A. FITZPATRICK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT SECOND INTERVAL INSERVICE TESTING PROGRAM FOR PUMPS AND VALVES We have received the Power Authority of the State of New York's (PASNY's)  !

letter of July 13, 1993, that transmitted a copy of the subject document.

Although the changes reflected in the document require no NRC staff review, we would like to offer several comments for PASNY's information. Specifically, we note that the use of disassembly and inspection as described in Relief Request (RR) V32 is approved per Generic Letter 89-04, " Guidance on Developing Acceptable Inservice Testing Programs," provided the guidance delineated in i Position 2 of GL 89-04 is followed. The implementation is subject to NRC inspection. We also note that the addition of valves 20A0V-83 and 20A0V-95 to RR V29 is acceptable in accordance with the guidance for rapid-acting valves in Position 6 of GL 89-04. Finally, we acknowledge the deletion of RRs V30, V31, and V33.  ;
