Hatch Docket #: 50-321 Narrative Report for LER 50-321/1982-015 During normal power operation on 2-10-82 at 0555, the IP41-C001C was tagged out to allow Maintenance to repair a seal leak on the Plant Service Water pump. Due to personnel error, the required immediate surveillance per Tech. Specs. 3.5.J.2.b was not performed. At 1615 on 2-10-82, it was discovered that the required surveillance was not performed. At 1645 the required surveillance was started on the A, B & D Plant Service Water pumps and was completed at 1700 on 2-10-82.

The IP41-C001C Plant Service Water pump was returned to operable status-at 1800 on 2-10-82.

A revision to the LC0 Status Sheet (HNP-901, Figure 1) has been sub-mitted which will allow logging the required immediate action or sur-veillance to be performed and the subsequent action to_ be performed while -

LC0 is in effect. Also, provisions were made to indicate the required date and time of the next surveillance. This change will allow the Shift Foreman and Shift Supervisor to determine if the required surveil-lance has been performed and the time and date of the next required surveillance.
