Dear Sir:

i In the above referenced letter, Philadelphia Electric Company (PECo) submitted, in accordance with:10 CFR 50.90, Technical Specifications Change - -

' Request (TSCR) No. 93-01 which requested a change _to Appendix A of the Peach-Bottom Facility Operating Licenses. These changes implement an expanded operating domain for PBAPS, Units 2 and 3. The technical analyses associated-l with this change are the ARTS /MELLLA (Average Power Range Monitor, Rod Block Monitor, Technical Specifications Improvements / Maximum Extended Load Line l Limit Analysis) analyses.

1 PEco hereby requests that our original submittal be revised such' that the i submitted Unit 2 pages 4, 20,.and 140b, and Unit 3 pages 4 and 9.be deleted j and replaced with the attached revised Unit 2 pages 4, 20, and 140b, and Unit '

3 pages 4 and 9. These pages are.being revised to_ incorporated.previously approved amendments and minor administrative changes.

This issue was discussed between Tom Loomis.(PECo) and Joe-Shea (NRC) on August 17, 1993.

• We have determined that this revision does not alter our evaluation of

! any of the 10 CFR 50.59 standards, and therefore, does r.ot affect our conclusion that TSCR 93-01 does not constitute an unreviewed safety question.

! We have also concluded that the proposed revision _does not affect the Information Supporting a Finding of No~Significant Hazards Consideration and the Information Supporting an Environmental Impact Assessment.
