Dear Mr. Vassallo:

In accordance with 10CFR50.71(e), Niagara Mohawk hereby submits one signed original and twelve (12) copies of Revision 2 to the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station Unit 1 Final Safety Analysis Report (Updated) . In addition, attached is Table 1 which lists modifications made in accordance with 10CFR50.59 since the last submittal of the Final Safety Analysis Report (Updated) on July 1, 1983. As a minimum, all modifications completed prior to January 1, 1984 were reviewed and, if applicable, incorporated into the Final Safety Analysis Report (Updated) .

This revision supplies information on a replacement page basis, as indicated on Table 2. A vertical bar indicates changes. Vertical bars were not placed next to typographical, clerical, or format changes. Vertical bars were not placed next to figure changes; however, figure changes are indicated by revision numbers.
