Dear Gentlemen:
This letter provides our response to-the Report of The Regulatory-Ef fectiveness-Review- (RER), transmitted by Mr. Vargas' letter dated-June 29, 1990 and received'on July'5, 1990.
In general, we concur and appreciate the many positive comments made during the Regulatory Effectiveness Review (RER), conducted June 4 through 8, 1990 and again emphasized-in the final report.
It has always been our philosophy to strive'to be the best-in the-industry and can assure you that we will continue to-maintain'a high quality program.
i We have reviewed each of the concerns identified'in the report.
In each case, we describe the corrective' action. planned or taken, or discuss why we feel corrective action is-not warranted.
In the case of the safeguards Observations, we-generally agree, however, l
further evaluation is necessary and. a letter-. to -file will.be written delineating any actions we feel appropriate. :This letter will be available for on-site-review.
The enclosed report contains Safeguards Information of a type specified in 10CFR73.21, and must be protected.accordingly.
