Letter of April 27,1998 to L. Joseph Callan Gentlemen:
On April 27,1998, we responded to your lette.: of March 26,1998, regarding pressure relief panels. In this letter, we stated that Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation was reinforcing the importance of design basis considerations by providing training to personnel most closely associated with the disposition of design basis issues within our corrective action program.
This training was to be completed by September 30,1998. Upon further review, we determined that only 69 percent of the target population received this training by September 30, 1998. Training was completed for the remainder of the target population on February 26, 1999.
