On June 26,'990, Niagara Mohawk submitted its response to Generic Letter 90-04 concerning status of implementation of Generic Safety Issue (GSI) requirements (NMPlL 0511).
In our June 26, 1990 letter we provided a status of "complete" for Nine Mile Point Unit 2 for GSI No. 75, Item 2.2.2 "Vendor Interface for Safety-Related Components".
Generic Letter 90-03, which discusses the Commission's guidelines on resolving Item 2.2.2, is currently being evaluated by Niagara Mohawk.
Therefore, a status of "evaluating" more accurately reflects Nine Mile Point Unit 2' position at thi s time concerning Item 2.2.2.
