SCHEDULE REVISION FOR THE SAFETY REVIEW OF THE CALLAWAY PLANT, UNIT 1, LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION (TAC NO. ME7708)

Dear Mr. Diya:

By letter dated December 15, 2011, Union Electric Company (Ameren Missouri) submitted an application pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 51 and 10 CFR Part 54, to renew operating license NPF-30 for the Callaway Plant, Unit 1 (Callaway),

for review by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff. This letter is to inform you of a change in the safety review schedule for the Callaway license renewal review.

The staff is revising the following safety review milestone Decision - Director, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, from TBD [To Be Determined] to 12/2014. The staff notes that the ACRS full committee meeting is scheduled to be held on October 2, 2014.

Enclosed is the staff's revised review schedule reflecting updates to the safety review for the Callaway license renewal application (LRA). The NRC will continue to follow established review procedures and the enclosed schedule to complete the reviews required by 10 CFR Part 54.
