Reference 2 dated December 2, 2013 transmitted the twenty-ninth Request for Additional Information (RAI) related to our application.

ULNRC-06072 January 16,2014 Page2 contains Ameren Missouri's response to the individual requests contained in the December 2, 2013 letter. The response to RAI 2.1.6-4d addresses the portion ofthe request related to Atypical Fuel Design. Additional information in the form of a commitment, related to the portion of the request for reactor vessel internals cold worked material will be provided by February 28, 2014. also includes a response to RAI B2.1.6-4b. This RAI was originally transmitted by RAI Set #27 (Reference 3). Reference 4 provided a Response to RAI Set #27, but indicated additional time would be needed to respond to this item and it would be provided on a schedule agreed to by NRC project management. contains LRA Amendment 29 to reflect changes made as a result of the RAI responses.

It should be noted that one modified commitment (Item 5) and one new commitment (Item 43) are included in Amendment 29, Table A4-1.

The responses and LRA Amendment 29 provide information intended to assist the staff in partially closing Open Item B2.1.6-1 identified in Reference 5.
