5) ULNRC-05891 dated August 9, 2012 By the Reference 1 letter, Union Electric Company (Ameren Missouri) submitted a license renewal application (LRA) for Callaway Plant Unit 1. Reference 2 dated December 27, 2012 and Reference 3 dated January 14, 2013 transmitted the nineteenth and twentieth Requests for Additional Information (RAis) related to our application. contains Ameren Missouri's responses to the individual requests contained in the December 27, 2012 and January 14, 2013 RAis. Enclosure 2 contains LRA Amendment 20 to reflect changes made as a result of the RAI responses.

o Item #4 is revised to include activities related to MRP-227-A Applicant/Licensee Action Item

  1. 1 and #8 item 5 o Item # 12 has been revised to clarify the commitment to inspect blisters in the coating of the Train A Emergency Diesel Generator Fuel Oil Storage Tank based on discussions held with NRC staff by phone on January 22,2013. This clarification is related to the response to Regional Inspection Item RI178 transmitted by Reference 4.

o Item #23 is revised to indicate completion ofthe seismic isolation gap inspection of plant structures by an engineer familiar with the seismic design of the plant. This closes a portion of the commitment modified in Reference 5. also includes an editorial revision to the NUREG-180 1 consistency section of LRA Appendix B2.1.27 so that it is consistent with the conclusion section.
