Thank you for your letters of March 3, and March 28, 1980, informing us of steps you have taken to correct the items of deviation concerning activities under NRC Operating License Nos. DPR-57 and NPF-5 brought to your attention in our letter of February 8,1980. We will examine your corrective actions and plans for Deviation Items B through N during subsequent inspections.
With tespect to Deviation Item A, as outlined in the telephone discussion between W. A. Widner of your staff and W. H. Miller, Jr. of this office on April 9,1980, it is our understanding that an engineering evaluation will be made of the approved fire protection modifications at Hatch. We understand that this evaluation will be completed and available for our review by June 24, 1980.
