SUMMARY

OF SEPTEMBER 30, 2008, CATEGORY 1 WORKING-LEVEL MEETING WITH NMPNS TO DISCUSS PROPOSED EXTENDED POWER UPRATE APPLICATION On September 30, 2008, a public meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and representatives of NMPNS and its vendor, Continuum Dynamics Inc.,

at NRC Headquarters, One White Flint North, 11555 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss NMPNS's proposed extended power uprate application related to power ascension testing, plant modifications, and instrumentation setpoints.

There were no members of the public in attendance, and no public meeting feedback forms were received. Enclosure 1 is a list of meeting attendees and Enclosure 2 is a copy of the licensee's slides presented at the meeting (ML082770565).
