Dear Administrative Judges:

Mindful of our obligation to keep the Board apprised of developments related to Comanche Peak, Applicants provide the following information. On February 6, 1986, Mr. W. G. Counsil, Executive Vice President, Texas Utilities Generating Company ("TUGCO"), announced the appointment of John F. Streeter as Director, Quality Assurance. Mr. Streeter, who joined TUGCO as Executive Assistant to Mr.

Counsil on December 1,1985, was previously with NRC Region til Headquarters where he served most recently as the Technical Assistant, Division of Reactor Safety. His appointment will be effective February 17, 1986 and he will report to the Vice President for Licensing, Fuels and Quality Assurance, Mr. Beck. Mr.

James Wells of Duke Power Company will continue in his role as Director, Quality Assurance, until February 17. Af ter that date, Mr. Wells will serve in an advisory position to Mr. Streeter for a suitable transition parlod. -

Mr. Counsit also announced the appointment of Mr. Gilbert S. Keeley as Manager of Licensing, reporting to Mr. Beck. Mr. Keeley has been associated with TUGCO since 1983. He came to TUGCO from Consumers Power Company where 9602190339 B60211 3 03 PDR ADOCK 05000445 V O PDR
