Dear Mr. Grimsely:

I-am writing to inquire about the status of the NRC's determination of pending fee waiver I have reguests received no for the above-response to my referenced FOIA letter of March 30, 1989 requests. in which I detailed the reasons supporting the granting of these fee waivers.

  • Since my-letter of March 30th much concerning the subject matter of the above-referenced FOIA requests has happened to strengthen the arguments in favor of fee waivers. For example, inter alla:

-On May 1, 1989 Mr. Macktal was granted (1) intervention status by the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in the case of Citizens for Fair Utility Regulation _v. U.S. Nuclear
