It is with pleasure that I submit this letter of support for the licensing of the Shearon Harris Nuclear Plant.
In my position as Town Manager of the Town of Zebulon, I can assure you that it is imperative that this plant come on line as soon as possible. Wake County and the aurrounding area is growing at a very rapid pace. Good planning for the future dictates that we must have an adequate power supply in order to attact industry to provide jobs for the thousands of people relocating to our area I am also in a position to assure you that the general feeling about Carolina Power and Light Company in this area is one of satisfaction with the services provided. We are confident that they have the expertise and are most competent to operate this proposed plant safely and economically.
