) This letter submits, in accordance with 10CFR 50.4(b)(4)(iii), four (4) controlled copies of the revised l r Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS) Physical Security Plan. The revisions are detailed for the l Plan in the respective Summary of Plan Revisions.

ioj g These changes are being submitted in accordance with the NRC Final Rule 10CFR73, " Protection Against Malevolent Use of Vehicles at Nuclear Power Plants", dated August 1994, which amended the regulations concerning the design basis threat for radiological sabotage to include the use of a land vehicle by adversaries for transporting personnel and their hand carried equipment to the proximity of vital areas, and to include a land vehicle bomb.

!" These revisions are being submitted in accordance with 10CFR 50.54(p)(2), and have been determined j not to decrease the effectiveness of the PBAPS Physical Security Plan.

[ In accordance with 10CFR 73.21, we request that the enclosed revisions to the PBAPS Physical Security Plan which contain Safeguards Information, be withheld from public disclosure and protected, as described in 10CFR 73.21.
