Deserletion of occurrence On November 10, 1990, the fire barrier door between the A and D 400 volt owitchgear= rooms (fire tones OB-FE-6A and 08-FE-6D) was discovered to be non-functional.

hDAl veis cf occurrences The.cause of the non-functional door was attributed to a faulty door latching mechanism. Since the required fire watches had been established, the safety significance of this event.is minimal.

Corrective Action:

A fire watch'was established on November 10, 1990 in accordance with technical specifications. 'A work regoest was submitted on November 28 , '1990 to repair the door.. The door latch, hinges and frame were repaired and the job package i was closed out on January 10, 1991.
