I shall be retiring from government service in the .ery future. We have selected Hugh T. Millard, Jr. to become Reactor Administator of the U.S.G.S. TRIGA Reactor Facility. Dr. Millard received his B.A. degree from Coe College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and in 1962 had a PhD. conferred from California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, California. Hugh is an internationally recognized expert in the field of Neutron Activation Analysis and has directed research in delayed neutron activation analyses and instrumental technology at the nuclear science facility at USGS ,

Denver, Colorado. For the past twelve years Hugh has been a member of the Reactor Operations Committee, and needless to say has served with distinction. He shall be missed on that Committee.
