Restart of the Geological Survey TRIGA Mark I reactor (GSTR).
Reassembly of the GSTR is progressing well and we exilct to be ready for the initial startup operation on November 7, 1988.
This letter is to formally request permission for resuming operation of the GSTR.
If yoit desire to inspect the facility, we ask that you be prepared to do so by November 7.
This would result in minimal delay in our operations.
It also seems likely at this time that the installation of the cew control console will be d/ layed beyond November, 1988.
