In your response to our request for additional information dated August 17, 1995, you evaluated the failure of a 12 wt% fuel' element in air in the reactor bay.
Please show doses to a member of the public at the
. fence of the Denver Federal Center and at the nearest residence to the reactor for this event.
To help understand the difference in doses due to the proposed use of 12 wt% fuel from the currently authorized fuel,. please submit an analysis of the failure of a current 8.5 wt% fuel element in air.
Include doses.to the reactor staff in the reactor room, a person outside of the reactor room on the grounds of the Denver Federal Center, a member of the public at the fence of the Denver Federal Center and at the nearest residence.
Discuss the differences in doses between the failure in air of the 8.5 and 12 wt% fuel elements.
