20555 Siro Encioned are three copics of Revision 3 of the Emergency Plan for the U.S.
Ocological Survey TRICA Reactor racility.
The plan was revised ao permitted by 10 CPR 50.54(q) and thic report in cuhmitted accordingly.
The USGS Reactor operations committee reviewed the changen to the Emergency Plan and found them to not decrease the effectivencos of the plan.
The c",ged text areas of the plan are marked with a vertical line in the Icft margins on the recpective pages.
Explanationn of the changes are as follous, with page numbero referring to the EcVicion 3 copy.

Figurc 3 Dele tc el " Reactor Receptionict" from figure and changed

The receptionist position has been climinated.

p.3, Section 3.1 Clarification was added to state that the llanagement Of ficer is responalbic only for buildings where the USGS in the prime tenant agency.

The Denver Federal Contor fire protection servicco are being contracted to outside fire departmento.
Thuc, any reference to a opocific fire department could be made invalid at any time by the actions of CSA or the fire department.

The DOE contractor at the Rocky Plato Plant has changed and may be changing again in the near future.
Thus, any reference to the specific contractor could be made invalid at any time by the actiona of the DOE or the contractor.
(3)
The Code 10 radiation alarm was removed from its direct connection to the fire department.
This uan donc by the rederal Protective Service because there is no direct responce required by the fire department to thic alarm and it van concidered to be a confusing item among the many fire alarmo.
According to the revised Emergency Plan, only the redoral Protective Service receiven the direct alarm. They will then communicate with the fire department if a response is needed.
