Dear Sir:
This is to advise you that. the U.S.G.S. TRIGA reactor facility will c, ease.
routine operation at 1800 hours0.0208 days <br />0.5 hours <br />0.00298 weeks <br />6.849e-4 months <br /> October 2, ~1987. Operation will be limital to that necessary to ccmply with our license conlitions until' the reactor can be
' de-fueled. The reactor will remain shut dcun until a new ' tank liner can be; installsi.
A request for a license amerriment to exempt certain surveillance requirements during the shutdown period will be submittal in the near future.
Surveillance of the tank will continue on a bi-weekly schedule until veter is -
renovei frcm the tank.
