~ dition and the control rod of highest worth stuck out of the core.

The design criteria and the system details have been reviewed and agreed upon by CPCo, Bechtel and B&W.

Engineering and procurenent activities to date are listed belev:

1. The system summary descriptien has been reviewed and commented on by CPCo and B&W-
2. Becntel has issued P&ID Drawing M-782, which is currently being re-viewed by CPCo and B&W
3. ' An order for two (2) 2300 gallen ASME Section III Class 2 Boric Acid -

Tanks (with redundant heaters) has been placed with Richard Engineering Ccmpany (RECO)

h. _.'An order has been placed for two (2) ASME Section III Class 2 pumps for recirculatien of the emergency beration tank contents.

System turnover to CPCo is presently scheduled for November 1982.
