RESPONSE OF CONSUMERS POWER COMPANY TO DOW'S REQUEST FOR ADMISSIONS - SET NO. 3 I
consumers Power Company (" Consumers"), by its attorneys, Barris, Sott, Denn fu Driker, responds to Dow's Request for Admissions - Set No. 3, dated November 13, 1984, as follows:

Consumers admits that PX-CPC 1977 is a true and correct copy of a cover letter and attachments submitted by Consumers to the Nuclear Regulatory' Commission ("NRC") on or about May 3, 1982 and

i best of Consumers' then knowledge and belief.

On the afternoon of November 13, 1984, following 4
conclusion of the trial in this case for the day, counsel for I
I Consumers was informed by a representative of Bechtel that boring logs B-1 through B-4, being a portion of the attachments to the letter of May 3, 1982 from Consumers t'o the NRC, may not be logs of j soil borings taken at the diesel fuel tank area.
