In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.55(e), CPCo is making this interim report.

Description of Concern CPCo obtained a Part 21 Report from W J Woolley Company, as a result of a CPCo review of NRC IE Information Notice 85-08. The Part 21-Report describes the rupture of an inflatable seal during testing. The seal is manufactured by Presray Corporation and used in personnel air locks. The test program by W J Woolley Company is designed to qualify this type of air lock for sealing against differential pressure. The test parameters are applicable to the

Midland Energy Center.
