Further investigation shows that the corrective action taken (para vii of our December 10, 1982 letter) was to replace the defective shock suppressors with new shock suppressors. Of the 11 mechanical shock suppressors which were in question, it is understood that four are disassembled and stored at Pacific Scientific Company.                  The remaining seven are held in a warehouse in Midland, PA.
