By letter dated June 2,1987, Alabama Power Company submitted .a proposed technical specification change that would increase the steam generator tube

. plugging limit to 10 percent. Several questions were raised by the NRC

.concerning this license amendment request and were subsequently addressed by ,

Alabama Power. Company letters ~ dated August 18 and September 16, 1987. In i the September 16 letter, Alabama Power Company made reference to an l evaluation performed by Westinghouse for plant Almaraz Units 1 and 2 in l which Westinghouse stated that no effect would be expected in the small ,
