During Unit 1 power operation, concurrent with the scheduled Unit 2 1989-1990 refueling / maintenance outage, a Unit I designated fire barrier LCO was initiated at 0335 hours en November 8, 1989, for fire door No. 118 in the units' common Diesel Generator (DG) Building. The door, which would not l                      completely self-close, is located at fire barrier penetration seal No.

4                      DG-2-095 and provides personnel access between DG rooms 1 and 2. At 0335 hours on November 15, 1989, the specified seven-day time frame of the LCO was exceeded. The door wcs found to be out of adjustment and required repairs were made to the door. It was returned to service at 1435 hours on November 15, 1989. During the time frame the subject LCO was in effect, appropriately          M stationed fire watches were maintained.
