, SPECIAL REPORT PER TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 3.7.8 P

Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

During a Unit No. I refueling outage, a fire barrier LCO was generated on March 25, 1983, to permit accessing a fire door in the Augmented Off-Gas Building. This was done in order to allow temporary routing of flush lines, utilized for the installation of a plant modification, through the doorway.

Due to the amount of time required to accomplish the involved plant modification work, the seven-day specified time frame of the LCO was exceeded.

On April 11, 1983, the subject modification work was completed, the involved LCO was canceled and the fire door, No. 108, was returned to service. This report is submitted pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.2.

Very truly yours,

y C. R. Dietz, General Manager
