PERRY UNIT 1 RECEIVES OPERATING LICENSE An operating license was issued on March 18, 1986, to the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company for Perry Unit 1. The license is limited to fuel loading and operation up to five per cent power. Fuel loading will begin on March 19, 1986, and take about two weeks to complete.
