Dear Mr. Hegener:

Millstone Nuclear Power Station Oil Spill Report Northeast Utidties Service Company (NUSCO), as agent for Northeast Nuclear energy Company (NNECO), herein submits a Hazardous Substance Spill Report for NNECO's Millstone Nuclear Power Station in Waterford, Connecticut. This is written confirmation of the telephone report made to your office on November 5,1987.

The spill occurred during a diesel fuel transfer between two tankers.

Approximately 20 gallons of fuel spilled on a gravel road because of an overfill.

The area of the spill has been cleaned. No fuel entered any ground or surface waters.
