Use of Emeraency Service Water (ESW) System and Temporary Chlorination erformance of c rtain a nte nce ac ivies associatedIsto w t he Water System. As requested, details of these activities are desenbed below. oin Unit 1 Serv As discussed, NNECO is performing maintenance activities to the Unit 1 service water) system. ESW is sea water taken from the intake structure, through backup service water p During plant shutdown, these backup pumps provide approximately 25% of the flow temporary bypass jumper to prevent biofouling. This water Condenser 'O' outlet water box to the Circulating Water discharge tunnel (DSN # 0 Service Water discharge tunnel (DSN # 001A-5). Both locations are permitte to 0.25 mg/l Free Available Chlorine (FAC).
