SUBJECT:

BOARD fl0TIFICATION 82-72 5'

Yi I have determined that t'he attached information concerning the results of a y

e Region IV investigation at Teledyne should be sent to the appropriate Board" and parties in accordance with the procedures of Office Letter No.19.

The investigation was stimulated by an allegation relating to the Fitzpatrick

),5 and Yankee Electric facilities.

The results reflect an audit of tthe.

Teledyne internal QA program.

Since the investigation may be viewed'as a

-e cross-cut of the Teledyne QA program, its results reflect the gener'al level of conformance to QA requirements at Teledyne.

It is therefore applicabla to all plants for which Teledyne is doing work.

These plants include

~

Diablo Canyon, Ferme 2 Summer, Limerick, and the operating reactors listed en the first page of the inspection report.
