SUBJECT:

DAILY HIGHLIGHT DIABLO CANYON UNIT 1 The staff has today issued a Safety Evaluation Report supporting an amendment extending until September 22, 1983, Facility Operating License No. DPR-76 for the Diablo Canyon Unit 1 Facility. The Safety Evaluation Report concludes that the requested one year extension does not involve a sicnificant hazards consideration. The co re-sponding license amenfiment is being prepared and will be issued very shortly.
