Delay was the result of Unit 2 having ~a low pressurea e
reactor trip on November '4, while an instrument technician was working on a pressurizer pressure channel.
The explanation' on.why the required two p-of four coincidence signals was generated by this incident is not known.
The wiring in the control. cabinet for one channel was " wrapped" around the
,4 terminal of another channel. For some reason the wrapped wire frayed at b
~
the point of contact which.in turn generated the necessary second signal for a scram.
IE Bulletin is planned on this incident.
