IDVP AND PG&E ON DIABLO CANYON VERIFICATION CLOSUR The meeting was attended by P. T. Kuo and Harold Polk of the SGEB a' staff.

consultant, Paul Bezler of Brookhaven National Laboratory.

A list of meeting attendees is enclosed.

The purpose of the meeting was to disculis the progress of the IDVP and the status of the closure efforts on the items that were left open in the IDVP Final Report.

The IDVP work remaining before the program can be closed includes completion of sampling of the design review packages on the DCP reanalysis efforts, resolution of approximately 16 E0I's, completion of the-field verification of the DCP modifications, issuance of the ITR's on the DCP reanalysis efforts, and issuance of the necessary supplements to the IDVP Final Report. The schedule presented in the meeting call.s for release of all the ITR's on the DCP verification program (ITR's 50 thru 68) by August 30, 1983. Other release dates for the ITR's was August 1 and August 15, 1983.

The IDVP proposed to use tne date of Jund 30, 1983 as the cutoff date for the review of the DCP work.

However additional DCP work has been ongoing after that date. The IDVP will review this work as it is available.

The projected date for issuing the supplement to the IDVP Final Report is mid September 1983.
