PURPOSE v

The purpose of this procedure is to rapidly depressurize the RPV to allow injection systems to inject and restore RPV water level to an acceptable level above -127" (TAF).

ENTRY CONDITIONS 2.1 This procedure is entered from the following Emergency Procedures 2.1.1 E0P 571 "RPV Pressure Control" 2.1.2 E0P 574 "RPV Steam Cooling" 2.1.3 E0P 575 "RPV Level / Power Control" 2.1.4 E0P 576 "RPV Level Restoration" 2.1.5 E0P 578 "RPV Flooding" 2.1.6 F0P 580 "Containment Control" 3.

THEN rapidly depressurize the RPV using one or more of the following subsystems in an order that will minimize radioactive release to the environment:

3.1.4.1 Main Turbine Bypass Valves.

3.1.4.2 Steam Jet Air Ejectors, e,.

3.1.4.5 RPV Head Vent.

3.1.4.6 Iso Cond Tube Side Manual Vent.

3.1.5 Exit this procedure and GO T0 the appropriate procedure listed, consistent with the following conditions:

3.1.5.1 IF E0P 577 was entered from E0P 576, or E0P 574 THEN GO TO E0P 576 "RPV Level Restoration" step 3.4 3.1.5.2 IF E0P 577 was entered from E0P 575, THEN GO TO E0P 575 "RPV Level /Rx Power Control", Step 3.4 AND E0P 571 "RPV Pressure Control" Step 3.5.

3.1.5.3 IF RPV Flooding is required, THEN GO TO E0P 578 "RPV Flooding".
