This letter relates to discussions Mr. R. T. Dodds of this office held with Mr. Kelcoc and several members of your staff concerning c recent inspection of your Oyster Creek reactor facility.

As a result of this inspection, one of your licensed activities appears to be in noncompliance with AEC requirements.

The item and references to the pertinent requirements are listed inpparagraph 5 cm the attached form AEC-592.

The purpose of this letter is to give you an opportunity to advise us in writing of (a)' your position concest&Dg this item, (b) any corrective steps you have taken or plan to take with respect to the item listed on the attached form, and (c) the data corrective actica was or will be completed.

Your reply should be sent to us within 20 days oa. the date of this letter to assure that it will receive proper attention in our further evaluation of the matter.
