REVIEW 0F FERMI 2 PHYSICAL SECURITY PLAN (REVISION 22)

This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated August 13, 1993, which transmitted changes identified as Revision 22 to the Fermi 2 Physical-Security Plan submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p).

We have reviewed the submitted changes and have determined that they are consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p) and are therefore acceptable, except as noted in the enclosure of this letter. For those items identified as unacceptable under the criteria of 10 CFR 50.54(p), the previously approved plan revision must be followed.

You are requested to provide corrections to your security plan to ' address the issues identified in the enclosure within two months after receipt of this letter. You may submit the changes either in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p) or 10 CFR 50.90.

The enclosure to your letter contained Safeguards Information of a type specified in 10 CFR 73.21 and is being withheld from public disclosure.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter, will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
