Dear Mr. Gipson:
In December 1998 and January 1999, Region 111 received Revision 22 to various portions of the Fermi Nuclear Power Plant Emergency Plan. This revision was submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(q). )

effectiveness of your Emergency Plan, and that the Plan continues to meet the standards cf i
! 10 CFR 50.47(b) and the requirements of Appendix E to Part 50, NRC approvalis not recuired.
Our initial review of these changes will be subject to inspection to confirm that they have not decreased the effectiveness of your Emergency Plan.
