of the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant
Dear Mr. Miiler:
In accordance with the requirements of 10 C.F.R. Parts 73.55(b)(4) and Appendix B thereof, wherein licensees of operating reactors are required to submit to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) a Training and Quali-fication Plan for security personnel at nuclear plants, attached hereto are five (5) ccpies of the proposed Plan for Units I and 2 of the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company's Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant.
As you are aware, many of the commitments in the Plan are made as a result of explicit NRC requirements found in the above-cited regulations.
Others have been undertaken in reliance on NRC staf f Interpretations provided to repr~esentatives of the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company. Recognizing the unique security needs of a nuclear facility, we have appreciated the cooperation and guidance provided by the staff during our preparation of this Plan.
Since the Plan contains detailed information regarding our Company's security training and qualifications procedurr for Plant personnel, it should be considered as proprietary information and, <
ich, should be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 C.F.R. 5 2.790.
