As a result of our evaluation, Radiation Safety Procedure ~RSP 2-204, " Packaging,

Radioactive Materials" was determined to require revision to clarify requirements. gg -Revision 4 to RSP 2-204 was issued January 26, 1990. In addition, a new Radiation r4 ' Safety Procedure RSP 2-207, " Radioactive Waste Classification" was issued on, January 26, 1990 to formalize waste classification calculations. Radiation Safety Technicians 8@ responsible for radioactive waste shipping were trained on the above procedures in oso.c ' January 1990. Full compliance was achieved February 1, 1990. Revised radioactive waste scaling factors have been approved and we are prepared to resume radioactive waste shipments. Q t} 6
