SUBJECT:

Calven Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant Unit Nos.1 & 2; Docket Nos. 50-317 & 50-318 Request for Additional Information Regarding Baltimore Gas and Electric Company Wind Tunnel Tests and Their Comparison with ARCON96 Comnutations

REFERENCE:

(a) Letter from Mr. C.11. Cruse (BGE) to NRC Document Control Desk, dated March 19, 1999, Request for Additional Information Regarding Baltimore Gas and Electric Company Wind Tunnel Tests and Their Comparison with ARCON96 Computations As part of our desire to properly address General Design Criteria 19 regarding Control Room IIabitability, we forwarded you numerous documents regarding wind tunnel tests and their comparison with ARCON96 Computations (Reference a). You noted that four pages were missing from its Attachment (1), Wind Tunnel Modeling of Calven Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant - CPP Project 94-1040.

Since this document is quite lengthy, we are forwarding you pages C-30, C-31, C-114 and C-115. You also noted missing pages from the 1985 report " Wind Flows and Dispersion Conditions of Calvert Cliffs," which was part of its Attachment (4). We have a complete copy of the 1985 report and are forwarding it to you. Previously, we had only ponions ofit.

Should you have additional questions regarding this matter, we will be pleased to discuss them with you.

Very truly yours,

~
