4 Enclosed please find Revision 4 to the Calvert Cliffs Performanos improvement Plan implementation Program (PIP IP), originally submitted by Reference a and most recently revised by %forence (b).. Thh revision creates a standard fo(rm)at for the Action Plans which states thetoope, deliverables, and overall objectives of the Action Plan. The new format is discussed in Section 1.2.

In many cases, a PIP lP Action Plan does not include within 'Its scope the achievement of the desired performance improvements, but simply puts the " tools" >

in place with which the responsible line or project organizaton-can make the improvements.

Progress toward the desired improvementiis monitored and tracked by our sef-assomment and performance objective processes 'and documented in our files.

This revision replaces the Title Page, Table of Contents, Ust of Acronyms,'and Sections 1.0 through 6.0 in their entirety. Also included are a revised schedule and a revised resource histogram for Action Pin 5.3.4, Design Basis Consolidation, as we stated in Reference (b)d in the next revision, currently planned for October 15, -
