Cruse (BGE) to NRC Document Control Desk, dated August 27,1999, " License Amendment Request: Revision to Spent Fuel Pool Water Level Technical Specification" Enclosure (1) transmits calculation information we agreed to provide to you in a September 9,1999 teleconference (Reference a). The calculation was performed to support reconstitution activities I discussed in Reference (b). Attachments A and B of the calculation contain the spreadsheets that were developed to calculate the decay time required to compensate for the decreased decontamination factor (DF). Attachments D and E of the calculation contain the spreadsheets that were developed to calculate the DF for 23 feet of water and 20.4 feet of water, respectively.
