INSPECTION REPORT NO. 05000461/2008007(DRS)

Dear Mr. Pardee:

On May 23, 2008, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a team

inspection at your Clinton Power Station. The enclosed report documents the results of the

inspection, which were discussed on May 23, 2008, with Mr. F. Kearney and other members of

your staff.

The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to the

implementation of B.5.b Phase 2 and 3 mitigating strategies, your compliance with the

Commission=s rules and regulations, and with the conditions of your operating license. Within

these areas, the inspection involved examination of selected procedures and representative

records, observations of activities, and interviews with personnel.

Based on the results of the inspection, there were no NRC-identified findings.
