SUMMARY

The Unit began the report period operating at approxirnately 98% output due to the 1A/1C Moisture Separator Reheaters (MSRs) being out-of-service. The MSRs cannot be retumed to service because their supply valve is inoperable due to a stem / plug separation which cannot be repaired until the Unit is shutdown. Repair of the valve has been planned for during the upcoming Unit 1 Surveillance Outage in April 1999. The Unit continued to operate at approximately 98% output for the remainder of the report period.
