Review of Unit 2 Preoperational Testing The inspector toured the Unit 2 construction site with the NRC resident inspector. A meeting was held with the Unit 2 Startup Superintendent to

discuss the progress, status, and future plans for the preoperational test program. Methods of communication were agreed on to forewarn the inspectors of future tests for witnessing. Selected test procedures were obtained for in-office review.

Additional Inspection Activities The inspector met various plant personnel and toured site. A discussion was held with the reactor engineer concerning the results of the recent startup testing on Unit I and various core-physics considerations.
