Concrete Expansion Anchors - Unit 1 In response to IE Bulletin No. 79-2, Alabama Pcwer Company (u?C) initiated a test program to identify and correct deficiencies found in anchor bolt installations.
The test program that was initiated was for 100% inspec-tion of all the anchor bolts for systems that APC thought to be necessary for cold shut down of the plant and for design basis accident.
Ocitted from this list were portions of chemical volume control systems, portions of component cooling systems and the spent fuel cooling system.
It was pointed out in meetings with APC representatives that a formal list of systems to be analyzed was required for NRC's evaluation.

It was commented to APC that procedure FrP-1-GMP-44 needed some modifica-tions in the testing for grouted expansion anchors to inclu2-all three types of expansion anchors employed at the site. This was acknowledged by APC and that testing of the;e anchors would be accomplishe ! for all anchors involved and that the procedure would be modified accordingly.
The following supports were observed for proper testing and prc>per documentation.
