Exit Interview The inspection scope and findings were summarized on July 13, 1979 with those persons indicated in Paragraph 1 above.
3.
Licensee Action on Previous Inspection Findings (Closed) Unresolved item 327/79-26-01 and 328/79-13-01:
Nonconformance report (NCR) review by design on NCR's relating to Instrument sensing lines. The licensee design has reviewed the NCR's involved and has submitted justification for the acceptance of individual NCR's which do not meet the general criteria. The inspector has no further questions.
4.
Unresolved Items Unresolved items were not identified during this inspection.
5.
Independent Inspection Effort The inspector conducted a three hour backshift inspection of the SKV elec-trical equipment installation for Units 1 and 2, observed the completed work in the containment for Unit 1, and the fire seals installed in the control room. The inspector examined the high potential test report of cable 1PL 6360A which is the power cable for the back flow gate hoist motor IAA. The inspector completed the site required training on Security and Health Physics for unescorted access.
Within the areas examined, there were no items of noncompliance identified.
6.
Electrical (Components and Systens I) - Review of Quality Records (Unit 2)
Thirteen NCRs were selected for examination to assure that the requirements of the QAM procedures were complied with in the areas of legibility, complete-g

-2-ness, corrective action, retrievibility and that the required QC and management review were completed.
The NCRs selected were 1660, 1460, 1300, 1164, 1130, 1029, 855, 697, 22, 20, 19, 18, and 17.
The Qualification records of two QA auditors and three QC inspectors were reviewed to assure that the records are current and complete, and that the auditors and inspectors are qualified for their duties.
The inspector examined QA audits SN-E-79-01, SN-E-79-02 and SN-E-79-03 to verify that the required audits were conducted, that deficiencies identified were corrected, and that the response included actions necessary to prevent repetition of the problem.
Within the areas examined, there were no items of noncompliance identified.
7.
Electrical (Cable and Terminations)
Fourteen NCRs were selected for examination to assure tb t the requirements of the QAM procedures were complied with in the areas of legibility, complete-ness, corrective actions, retrievability and that the required QC and management reviews were completed. The NCRs selected were:
1776, 1775, 1769, 1757, 1756, 1755, 1750, 1745, 1739, 1717, 1714, 1583, 1513, and 1358.
The inspector reviewed three QA audits SN-E-79-01,SN-E-79-02 and SN-E-79-03 to assure that the required audits were performed, that dificiencies ware corrected and that nonrecurrence action was included.
Within the areas examined, there were no items of noncompliance identified.

Licensee Identified Items (50.55(e))
a.
(Closed) 328/79-07-11 Relay tachometer failure on diesel generators (NCR SP). The inspector reviewed the complete workplan 2567, "Modifica-tions of Diesel Generator per FCRNO EPP-194," for diesel generators 2A-A and 2B-B. The work plan documented the replacement of the defective DYANALCO speed switches with SYNC 0-START speed switches. The licensees final report dated April 30, 1979 was reviewed. This item is closed.
b.
(Closed) 327/78-12-02, 328/78-08-02:
Diesel generator hydraulic actuators. The irspector reviewed maintenance requests 10677, 10681, 23154, 23155 whica detail the replacement of the hydraulic actuators on all four diesel generators. The data on SI-7 for each generator as of last testing confirms the correct operation of the actuators. This item is closed.
c.
(0 pen) 327/79-20-06, 328/79-11-06:
Control loop bistables fail to undesirable position on loss of power. The inspector reviewed the licensees final report of May 31, 1979.
The licensee has issued Engineering Change Notice (ECN) 2278.
A work plan 3206 is being prepared to do the necessary work. This item will remain open pending completion of work plan 3206.

(0 pen) 327/79-29-03, 328/79-16-03:
Installation of Improper Coils in AFW and EGTS control circuits. The inspector reviewed the licensees final report dated May 1, 1979 and work plan 1727 which replaced the four AC coils with DC coils.
Additional work is required to incorporate ECNs 2277, 2328 and 2329.
The documentation on the completion of the referenced ECNs' was not available for review. This item remains open pending completion and documention of the work.
